This Could Save You Money on Your Baggage

Updated: Mar 28, 2019

Be aware that many airlines now charge for carry-on luggage (any luggage that doesn’t fit under the seat in front of you). Don't get stuck with last minute unnecessary baggage fees.

Read these quick tips to learn how to save money on your baggage.

  • This is a great size for backpack carry-on luggage that utilizes space well and fits under the seat. We’ve used them on Frontier and Southwest. Check with your airlines if necessary. These travel backpacks are plain but you can make them your own with local embroidery or vinyl providers.

  • Mark your bags with something unique such as a colored ribbon tied to it or a colorful large luggage tag. Luggage tags can be found at most department stores as well as online.

  • To keep costly checked bags to a minimum, utilize the full 50 lb weight limit per bag. To make this easy, use a digital hanging luggage scale. Main thing to consider is that it is digital so it’s easy to read.
